SummerQuest 2012
This program will give students the opportunity to participate in a meaningful and engaging summer learning program to strengthen their literacy, math, social science, healthy eating and physical activity skills.
Dates: June 18 – July 26, 2012
Time: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, Days: Monday – Thursday

Summer of Service 2.2 Middle School
This is an exciting 7- week program that gives incoming 7th and 8th grade students the privilege of helping out their community through service learning opportunities addressing community issues and concerns.
Dates: June 18 – July 31, 2012
Time: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Locations: California, Rosa Parks, John Still, Albert Einstein, Will C. Wood, Sam Brannan, Kit Carson, Fern Bacon, and Sutter Middle Schools.

Summer of Service 1.3 High School
This is an exciting 7-week program that gives incoming 9th grade students the privilege of helping out their community through service learning opportunities that address community issues and concerns. After completing 120 hours of service, students will earn; 5 high school elective credits and the opportunity to attend a 3-day, 2-night Leadership camp at CSUS.
Dates: June 18 – July 30, 2012 (SOS 1.3), July 31 – August 2, 2012 (Leadership Camp)
Time: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Locations: Hiram Johnson, C. K. McClatchy, John F. Kennedy, and Health Professions High Schools

Summer at City Hall
Program participants will learn about pressing issues in their community as well as attend classes at City Hall where they can network with city officials. After completing a 6 week course and a 27 hour internship students will earn 5 high school credits and a stipend. Participants must be 16 years of age or older and attend a qualifying high school.
Dates: June 18 – July 27, 2012
Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, plus a 6 hour internship each week after class
