Taye Diggs doesn’t want you to call his son black — he wants him to identify as “mixed.”
Diggs, who recently wrote a book title Mixed Me! for his biracial son, spoke with The Grio on his preference on how others should describe his son’s race.
Diggs also said he would call President Barack Obama the first “mixed” president, rather than the first “black” president.”
