Tiffany Haddish has suffered her share of sexual harassment as a woman in comedy —and it has not be easy.
The Girls Trip star shared her personal experiences navigating predatory men in her new book “The Last Black Unicorn.” She wrote about various comedy club promoters and comedians that tried to take advantage of her as she built her career.
But Haddish always had an answer for them: “Hell no!”
“I can’t tell you how many promoters tried to tell me that to get on stage, I had to get on my back,” she wrote of those early days navigating the Los Angeles comedy scene.
