The Transportation Security Administratio (TSA) announced on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, it is now allowing travelers to bring small knives, golf clubs, and hockey sticks into airline cabins for the first time since 2001, according to an article on USAToday.com.

The change will reportedly take effect April 25. Razor blades and box cutters would still be prohibited.

Knives allowed need to have a blade no longer than 2.36 inches or 6 centimeters in length, a width of no more than a half inch at its widest point, and does not have a locking or fixed bade, or molded grip.
