On May 5, Mark Watson was hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle, tragically sustaining a severe spinal cord injury that has left him wheelchair bound and with very limited use of his hands and arms.

In an effort to help Mark and his wife, Bobbie, with the many expenses not covered by insurance, friends and co-workers of Mark are putting on a benefit golf tournament at Dry Creek Golf Course in Galt on Friday, September 20 at 1pm.

The 18-hole shotgun, four-person scramble costs $95 per person, which includes green fees, cart and lunch. There will also be a silent auction and raffle following the tournament, with prizes including golf packages at over a dozen golf courses in the region.

Entry deadline for the tournament is September 14.

Additionally, the Mark Watson Donation Fun has been set up at SAFE Credit Union for direct donations.
