The Elk Grove Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in conjunction with the Elk Grove Minerva Foundation hosted 4th Annual Crimson and Cream New Year’s Eve Gala on Sat-12/31 from 8 am to 1 am at the Mariott Hotel in Rancho Cordova. This year’s theme was: “A Red Carpet Affair.” The Crimson and Cream New Year’s Eve Gala is an annual fundraiser which features Community Service Award Recipients and supports the chapter’s programs
and projects. This year’s Community Service Award recipients were:

    Mr. Tracie Dodson, Student Support Services Counselor at Monterey Trail High School
    Dr. Hazel Mahone, Founder of Vision 2000 Math and Reading Academy
    Dr. Otashe Golden-Faison, Owner and CEO of California Primary Care Medical Group.
