DO YOU NEED AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE?
You can now get enrollment assistance for Covered California at Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento. Meet and talk with Certified Enrollment Counselors (CECs) in person to learn more about options for affordable health insurance for you, your family members, your employees and consultants you work with. Certified Enrollment Entities: Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation, California NAACP, California Black Chamber of Commerce and 1Solution will have CECs available starting Tuesday, December 16, 2014 through February 15, 2015 at Arden Fair Mall on the 2nd level in the Food Court from 11 am to 8 pm Monday-Saturday and 11 am to 6 pm on Sundays.
This holiday season California Coalition of Healthy Communities (CCHC) will be helping families get the “gift” of health insurance which can save lives and money particularly in the case of unexpected emergencies.
Don’t wait as you have less than 60 days as the deadline for open enrollment is February 15, 2015. There will be a penalty when you file your taxes if you don’t have health insurance or an exemption. In 2015, the penalty will be 2% of your yearly household income or $325 per adult (and $162.50 per child under 18), up to $975 per family, whichever is higher.
