The Sierra Health Foundation is seeking Sacramento County stakeholders to apply for the Respite Partnership Collaborative (RPC) – a project that will support respite programs as a way to respond to mental health crisis in Sacramento County. The RPC is a partnership of the County of Sacramento, Division of Behavioral Health Services, Sierra Health Foundation and the community at large.
The RPC will establish respite options to help reduce the need for hospitalizations that could occur as a result of mental health crisis. The RPC will fund respite program models that meet criteria including wellness and recovery principles, the inclusion of peer / youth / family / caregiver support services and locations in neighborhood or home-like settings.
