The Sacramento Police Department (SPD) is now accepting applications for the positions of Police Recruit and Lateral Police Officer.
The mission of the SPD is to work in partnership with the community to protect life and property, solve neighborhood problems and improve the quality of life in our city. Free informational workshops about the hiring process, test preparation, and the Police Academy are being offered at the Public Safety Center on February 2, February 9 and February 16, 2013.
