San Francisco — Throughout the global health crisis, essential workers — janitors, operating engineers and more — kept our city and our country clean and safe. Every day they went to work and risked their health to keep our hospitals, grocery stores, transportation centers up and running. 

Sadly, many lost their lives to COVID-19, leaving behind loved ones.

Join us Tuesday, November 2nd as SEIU Local 87 janitors, Operating Engineers Local 39, and supporters hold a Day of the Dead / Dia de los Muertos even honor essential workers who lost their lives to COVID19 and as essential engineers demand Kaiser respect essential workers with a fair union contract.

SEIU is the nation’s largest union of janitors, representing more than 135,000 cleaners.
