Following an extensive state-wide search, The California Coalition for Youth (CCY) is pleased to announce that Kevin McAllister has been named Executive Director. With more than an 18-year career working with foster youth, Kevin is sure to provide CCY with remarkable guidance and success.
Prior to accepting the position with CCY, Kevin served as the Director of Operations for Beyond Emancipation, an organization that supports and serves Alameda County’s current and former foster youth. Kevin also served as the Assistant Family Violence Prevention Coordinator and as Interim Director of the Solano Family Justice Center, an agency that provides advocacy services to victims of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Kevin holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from California State University, Sacramento and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from National University in La Jolla, CA.
