I haven’t eaten meat for over 30 years, haven’t eaten dairy for over six years, and stopped eating eggs six months ago. Embracing a whole-food, plant-based, oil-free diet has made me feel incredible! My skin is clearer, I no longer get sinus infections, my bloating improved, I sleep well, I’m energetic, happy, and healthy, but I’ve noticed that I still battle with extreme, insatiable sugar cravings. Baking is one thing that brings me joy and relieves stress, and I love enjoying the treats I make, but what I hate is that my stomach feels so terrible if I eat too much, and yet, it doesn’t stop me from wanting to eat it all the time!
