As the temperatures drop and snow begins to fall in parts of the country, ski resorts are reopening after the longest off-season in history (caused by the pandemic, of course). Many travelers, too, are itching to get back outside and enjoy some fresh powder after months cooped up at home. But one big question looms: Is downhill skiing, and spending time at ski resorts, actually safe this year?
