KHTK 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza at Cal Expo
Where: Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand at Cal Expo
When: Saturday, July 4. Doors open at 5 PM. Fireworks start at 9:30 PM
Details: The FREE Independence Day Celebration is a family oriented collection of activities that takes place at the Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand at Cal Expo. A limited number of $10 reserved seats are available for sale at calexpo.com.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Enjoy live music from the Cripple Creek Band, Hannah Kile and Radio Billionaires plus there will be vendors offering yummy treats and other activities. The fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Sutter’s Fort Celebrates 4th of July Weekend With a Bang!
Where: Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park
When: Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5
Details: Black powder demonstrations of muskets, rifles and other historic fire arms will be offered periodically throughout the day on Saturday, July 4. The firing of Sutter’s cannon is scheduled at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. More information can be found here.
