Bank of America was reportedly ordered to pay more than $2 million to Black job applicants in back wages and interest as part of a discrimination case, according to an article on BET.com.

According to the article, the US Department of Labor found Bank of America “applied unfair selection criteria,” which caused about 1,100 qualified African-American applicants to be denied teller and entry-level administrative positions.
