Court documents filed in Sacramento downtown shooting detail gang relations, what led up to shooting

“New details reveal three of the six people killed in the gang-related shooting in downtown Sacramento earlier this month were involved in a dispute ahead of the gunfight, according to newly filed court documents.
The three men who were killed – Joshua Hoye-Lucchesi, 32; DeVazia Turner, 29; and Sergio Harris, 38 – were associated with local gangs, according to documents filed Friday by Sacramento County District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert. Investigators know Turner fired a weapon, but it’s unclear if all three men fired weapons during the shooting.”
