For the geeks among us, it’s like Christmas In July.  Well, June.  FORGIVE ME!  I’M EXCITED!

Fandemic Tour Sacramento rolled into town Friday afternoon, and has set up shop at the Sacramento Convention Center through Sunday, June 24.

Cosplay.  Video games.  Panel discussions.  Retail booths.  And..

…I’m getting choked up, y’all…

…John Schneider from Smallville will be here Saturday at 2pm, presenting on the main stage.  Schneider played “Jonathon Kent” on the show.  Depending on your age, you may know him as either Bo Duke from The Dukes Of Hazard or Jim Cryer from OWN’s The Haves And The Have Nots.

BUT NO ONE IS TALKIN’ ‘BOUT THOSE SHOWS THIS WEEKEND.  IT’S ALL ABOUT SMALLVILLE

Tom Welling, who played “Clark Kent / Kal El” on the same show, was scheduled to be here, but had to cancel due to filming.

Having just glanced at the weekend’s schedule, there’s a fantastic-sounding panel entitled “Body Image, Acceptance and Diversity in Cosplay and Pop Culture” Sunday, June 24 at 3pm on Stage Two.

The event wraps up Sunday at 5pm.

I camped out yesterday so I could be first in line.  Well, I didn’t “camp.”  Black folks don’t camp but I had to be first in line.

I have my Apple Watch closely monitoring my heart rate this weekend.  I’ve read that they’ve saved a few lives, so I’ll be putting mine to the test this weekend.

This is epic.  EPIC!!!!!!!
