I’ve not been a fan of the multitude of streaming services that are out there. Many have been talking about cutting the cord for years in favor of streaming, but with the wealth of choices out there, it’s easy to spend even more of your hard-earned dollars on video streaming than one would on basic cable.

Prior to the pandemic, my paid streaming services were limited to Netflix and Hulu. But after the CDC advised us to keep our happy asses at home, I decided to take some of the money I was spending at the movies every month and upgrade my home theatre set up.

After a quick wall mount for my new flat screen, the investment in a few additional streaming services, a La-Z-Boy recliner, and some snacks from Safeway, CineMike Movie Theatre was open for business, just in time for the holidays!
