Mayor Kevin Johnson has taken on an expanded role with the NBPA in the wake of the Donald Sterling saga and he actually did appear on-screen for an interview with Lisa Salters this afternoon.
During the interview, he put forth the players’ position regarding Donald Sterling thusly: they want to be included in Commissioner Adam Silver’s decision-making process and they want the maximum punishment possible under NBA bylaws once the investigation is complete.
