Legendary Motown Records etiquette coach Maxine Powell, who passed away last Monday, was memorialized on Friday during a two-hour funeral in Detroit, according to an article on USAToday.com.
According to the article, Motown stars who attended to pay their respects to Powell included the Supremes’ Mary Wilson, the Velvettes’ Cal Street, and Diana Ross’ sister Rita Ross.
