YouTube will be holding its first-ever Music Awards on November 3, and nominees include a mix of stars you know — and others you may not.
According to an article on Billboard.com, nominees were selected for six categories based on YouTube user votes. Both Rihanna and Nicki Minaj are up for the “Artist of the Year” category, while Kendrick Lamar is up for “YouTube Breakthrough.”
Also up for awards are YouTube personality and rapper DeStorm Power for “Innovation of the Year,” and the video “Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney” by Epic Rap Battles Of History is up for “Video of the Year.”
