The Greater Sacramento NAACP Presents 13th Annual R&B Festival Saturday, September 2, 2023 – River Walk Park, West Sacramento, 651 2nd Street. Time – 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

President Betty Williams and the Executive Committee of The Greater Sacramento National Association  for the Advancement of Colored People (GSNAACP) invites the community to the 13th Annual R&B  Festival a day of family friendly fun.  

This year headliners are Grammy Nominated GLEN JONES singing his Billboard chart topper “Here I go  again” “Show me” and We’ve Only Just Begun and SURFACE singing their number one hit “Happy” and  “Shower me with Love”. Local favorites and rising stars will also perform. This event has something for  everyone, soul, old school, pop, blues, and funk, will have you dancing and amazed. 

Kick off the Labor Day weekend with music that the whole family can enjoy. Cool breezes and hot music  on the river. Enjoy local foods and craft vendors from around the region. Shop ‘til you drop in between  moving and grooving. 

Besides the hot music and cool breezes, dancing and food, health care professionals will be on hand to  answer your questions and give out information that will make your life better. Financial institutions will  share information concerning financial services and wealth management. Community based organizations will provide information and resources about their services and programs. 

Budget friendly: General Admission $15 Adults, family pack, $60 (5 tickets) Children 12 and under Free – Price at the Gate $20 Adults, $65 (5 tickets) Family Pack.  

Your support of this and other NAACP events enables us to fulfill our mission to ensure the political,  educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and  racial discrimination. Funds raised from this, and other NAACP events will enable the organization to  continue offering its service and civil rights advocacy efforts FREE to the public – giving a voice to the  voiceless.  

This event continues to grow every year, rapidly becoming a destination and “staycation” attraction. High back chairs, coolers, outside food, and alcohol are not permitted. Only SERVICE DOGS are allowed and no other pets.
