Why should YOU "take daily vitamins"? Well it depends on your particular health situation, your age, and so on. I’m actually starting to take vitamins because my mom says it’s a good idea (usually mothers know best) as I’m doing so much physical activity and because I’m getting older.  And, also because when I had a recent physical, I found out that I was moderately deficient in iron (what a surprise).  It is highly recommended that YOU find out what vitamins you should be taking and why by first consulting with your physician.

Almost all health food stores carry vitamins, and a number of drug stores and supermarkets stock them on their shelves as well.  In general, natural food supplements are composed of, derived from, or byproducts of foods that provide health benefits. Regular foods you buy from the grocery stores contain a lot of natural vitamins so it’s important to find out where you lack in getting the vitamins your body needs.

My mom helped me select some vitamins (Centrum Multivitamin/Multimineral Supplement; helps support breast & bone health) at a reasonable price at Walmart.

A nutritious diet is key to feeling better along with exercising.  So find out the appropriate nutritional vitamins YOU should take for:

P.S.  – MY CONFESSIONS! okay so in "Week 3" of my 10-week diet/weight challenge (started 5/18), I cheated slightly starting with the post celebration my daughter’s high school graduation on Tues-6/2.  Well, my entire family went to Joe’s Crab Shack and I had a bucket of crab and for dessert I had the very delicious key lime pie (OMG it was so good!).  But, I did share with my brother, sister, mom, and my daughter.  I had buttered popcorn at the movies on 6/4.   And, I also ate at TGIFs (6/5)  with my gurlfriends.  But now I am back on track entering "WEEK 4".  After Week 2, I lost 5 pounds so I’m making progress!
