“It’s getting pretty scary here. Some of the staff are starting to test positive. This is how it started in Italy and New York.”

As Governor Newsom shut the state of California down again, many feel that he’s overstepping, and that the novel coronavirus is being overstated by the media.

Some don’t want to wear masks or face coverings, and don’t think they should have to.

Some think that the entire pandemic is being blown out of proportion.

According to a longtime medical professional who is in the trenches at a major Sacramento-area hospital, those people are dead wrong.

According to my source, Governor Newsom is taking necessary measures to prevent the further spread of coronavirus. Their hospital is now home to 40 COVID-19 patients. Almost half of those patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU) and almost all of those patients are on ventilators.

“If we get just a few more patients,” the source says, “we will have to start taking away from the cardiac and neuro ICU beds — and they are already full with their own patients.”
