An archaeologist thinks he may have evidence that the tomb of Egyptian Queen Nefertiti is hidden in plain sight.

Known for her beauty, Queen Nefertiti has long held a prominent place in ancient Egyptian history. Yet, researchers have been unable to locate her final resting place.

In a paper recently published by the Amarna Royal Tombs Project, Nicholas Reeves, an archaeologist at the University of Arizona, suggests that Nefertiti’s tomb may be hidden in a passageway behind Tutankhamun’s tomb.
