I’ll be marking my calendar for a number of these specials. Even in our on-demand media world, there’s nothing like watching A Charlie Brown Christmas or How The Grinch Stole Christmas live. Contrastingly, there’s nothing more disappointing than missing them.
December 9th appears to be the battleground day, when ABC pits Santa Claus Is Coming To Town against it’s better known brother, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer on CBS at 8pm. As much as I love Mickey Rooney’s Kris Kringle, the Burgermeister, the Winter Warlock and the rest of the gang, I’ve got to go with Rudolph.
“OK, Rudolph! Full power!”
