With the new Downtown Sacramento Arena plans well under way, our Downtown Old Sacramento area is facing multiple new challenges regarding its totality as a landmark for the Downtown Sacramento region. Old Sacramento had survived various disastrous events over the years including fires, and floods, but now it is official that more changes are to be made to the surrounding area for better upkeep and safety for it to be a compliment to our upcoming arena. Some concerns for worried local residents include: boardwalk access, parking detail, local businesses losing money, and overall structure of Old Sacramento changing completely.
