Handlinbiz Entertainment and Next Week Productions present the world premiere of the new film “Left and Loose in the Lot” at Crest Theater in Downtown Sacramento on Friday August 5, 2011. “Left and Loose in the Lot” is Harold and Kumar meets Bad Boys, minus about $95 million. The film features two stoner guys who work the night shift at a local parking lot. Their simple lives and brains are thrown for an action-packed loop one night when they witness a murder and end up way in over their heads. Their antics give a whole new meaning to the phrase “Highly Trained”.

The independent film was shot entirely in Sacramento and Folsom with Sacramento talent in front of an behind the camera. The film stars local celebrity Waynee Wayne, host of KSFM 102.5’s popular morning show and Demetrius Dedmon, a 102.5 DJ as well. The film also features Hollywood actor/producer Christopher Michael Holley, who has worked on many Hollywood films, with the likes of Joe Carnahan, Kevin Spacey, Edward Norton and Jeremy Piven. Award-Winning Feature Film DP John Jimenez was behind the camera, bringing the film to life. LEFT AND LOOSE IN THE LOT is the first film from writer/producer Dawn Dais, a Sacramento native and best-selling author. She has for years yearned to share her personal tale of her time spent as a Black man working in a parking garage. Now her story will be told.

“Left and Loose in the Lot” features two lovable, hilarious characters who keep the audience rooting for them, even when it’s made repeatedly clear that these two idiots are always going to mess everything up. A fun, light-hearted buddy film “Left and Loose in the Lot” is just the beginning for these characters and the unlimited adventures their stupidity can get them into.
