The Sacramento Coalition for Working Families is seeking volunteers for Income Tax Assistance.
This is a great resume building opportunity and no prior tax law experience is necessary. Volunteers will receive IRS training in November.
Volunteers will help community members receive the tax refunds they deserve. There is no charge for the service, and receiving earned tax benefits can raise a working family’s income by as much as $5000. There are several positions available and schedules and locations are flexible throughout the tax season. Those with strong customer service skills should apply.
Volunteer positions include 211 Call Center, Greeter, Screener, Tax Preparer and Translator.
