Sacramento will join the National Action Network — National Call to Action “Justice for Trayvon Martin” March & Rally this Saturday, July 20.

This non-violent event will take place at the Sacramento Federal Courthouse, 501 I Street, in Sacramento at 1pm.

The National Action Network is encouraging and organizing the protests at federal court buildings to press the Justice Department to bring a civil rights case against George Zimmerman.

The event will include a libation ceremony, speakers and unity circles. Expected speakers and participants include Kevin Carter of Occupy Sacramento, Suzanne Brooks of International Association for Women of Color Day, Kakwasi Somadhi of Black United Fund of Sacramento Valley, and Rev. Joy Johnson, pastor of Higher Hopes Christian Church.
