I know you can handle the treats for trick-or-treaters.  Grab a big bag of assorted chocolates from the grocery store and call it a night, right?

I’ve got the scoop on a couple of treats that can’t be missed, for you and the family!

halloweentreats 250First, get to Starbucks.  Just in time for Halloween, they’re offering their Zombie Frappuccino only until supplies last.  And you need one:  the flavor’s hard to describe…I think it includes lemon and berry.  Now that I read that, it doesn’t sound as tasty as it was!  Trust me on this…but get a “tall” (Starbucks’ version of “small”) when you try it out for the first time, as I’m told it’s an acquired taste.  For the record, I acquired it on the first sip.

Then, for later, head over to Target.  Yes, Target — when you stop to get your candy for Halloween night.  Head over to the Dairy aisle, and grab a carton of TruMoo Orange Scream.  It is to be enjoyed ice cold, so resist the temptation to take a swig on the way home.  I’ll warn you in advance: it’s a addicting cocktail of citrus dairy goodness that’s not to be missed.

One of my Facebook friends suggested adding a shot of vodka.  Now that’s just wrong… but in the interest of investigative journalism, I’ll try it as soon as this work day is over!

You’re welcome!  And Happy Halloween!
